Founder's Story
Drawing from their nearly two decades of experience building brands within the beauty industry, husband and wife duo Joseph and Lexy McLellan noticed the way that many skincare brands built and marketed their products as miracle workers.
Intrigued by these claims, and fueled by a desire to be creative, they wondered what it would take to create a product that could actually stand up to its hype.
Moving into this next chapter would take every ounce of their shared experience and expertise to help them create something truly groundbreaking in the world of skincare.
A true jack of all trades, Joseph utilizes his varied background to drive digital marketing, operations and logistics at SKINIST. His hands-on approach keeps him involved not just in the day to day of the company, but fully immersed in its plans for the future.
Lexy started developing her skills in the beauty industry by working for her parent’s company. Her inherited entrepreneurial spirit drives her passion and joy for SKINIST. where she shapes the identity of the company in her role as Creative Director, involved in everything from packaging, color collections, photoshoots and video assets.
